The design is based on an F1C100s system-on-chip running Linux and incorporates touch-sensitive pads using the TTP229 sensor. After the boot sequence completes, the system registers sensor inputs and produces corresponding drum sounds.
The card operates on a Linux platform powered by the F1C100s SoC, which ensures a reliable system environment for executing software routines. The TTP229 sensor technology enables touch responsiveness allowing sensor pads to detect user input. Power is efficiently managed via the USB Type-C interface and audio signals are output through a headphone jack. Booting the system requires a set period, after which the sensor taps are processed in real time.
The PCB manufacturing process employs colorful silkscreen technology for printing multi-color UV-cured ink directly onto the printed circuit board. This method merges artwork and circuit fabrication into a single production step. Although the cost is slightly higher compared to traditional printing due to the advanced printing technique, the approach ensures a polished and professional appearance.
