But not now, as Chasing Innovation has introduced an upgraded version of the Dory underwater drone called Dory Explore for the treasure hunting enthusiasts to turn curiosity into discovery.
Dory Explore is a light-weight portable drone that can move around easily up to 15 meters under water. A floating Wi-Fi buoy connects to the smartphone via Wi-Fi and links to the drone with a cable, ensuring stable video streaming and real-time control through the remote joystick, enabling you to control the Drone with your smartphone as well as through Bluetooth remote control. It can easily detect the objects within a 4 cm range with its metal detector and give alerts through the camera feed. It is equipped with a detachable treasure-collecting net that lets us pick up the items under the water. The feature called depth-lock allows us to take perfect photos with stability. Dory can be used as both a surveillance tool and a treasure hunt companion.
Operating Dory needs only basic drone skills and some understanding of navigation underwater. The joystick makes it easier to move around tight spaces, and the detachable parts make Dory more compact and equipped at the same time.
