Quarky Intellio AI Module with Educational Robots

Quarky Intellio is a LEGO-compatible AI module made for hands-on learning in Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, and Robotics. It is built on the ESP32-S3 microcontroller and includes a camera, microphone, speaker, rechargeable battery, SD card slot, and multiple connection ports. These features allow users to experiment with vision, sound, and basic edge AI projects using a small, all-in-one device that works with platforms like Arduino, ESP32, and LEGO construction parts.

Intellio supports development through PictoBlox using both block-based coding and Python. Users can train and deploy machine-learning models using PictoBlox’s ML environment or TinyML (TFLite). Common use cases include projects such as self-driving vehicles, AR marker-based navigation robots, interactive desk companions, and robotic pets. The module is intended to make AI and robotics concepts more approachable by combining hardware and software tools in a single, programmable unit.

Quarky Intellio is offered in two configurations. The Discovery Kit focuses on introducing core AI and AR concepts through recognition cards and AR markers, while the Rover Kit builds on this foundation by enabling robotic construction and more advanced AI-driven projects. Both variants are aimed at learners aged 10 and above, as well as educators and makers interested in practical exploration of AI and robotics technologies.
