As official media partners of electronica India and productronica India 2025, we bring to you highlights from its inauguration ceremony. The event was held in an open space facing Hall C, hosted by Priya Shubankar. The host was assisted by a humanoid, VOLT-E, who welcomed guests and waved back when members from the audience waved at it. The bot was able to respond to the host’s questions with zero visible latency and was accompanied by two quadruped bots, his friends CHIP-E and PIX-E. These bots could stand on two feet and did impressive handstands. Following this, a brand message from Rohit Sharma was displayed on a screen, where he shared why he supports the event.
As part of the ceremony, members of the live and online audience took part in a digital pledge. The pledge read, “We pledge to lead India’s electronics revolution by accelerating breakthrough innovation and transforming the entire value chain - from cutting-edge design and advanced components to world-class manufacturing and seamless global integration.”
The event was inaugurated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by dignitaries, prominent personalities in the electronics industry. Near closing, numerous drones flew over the members of the audience with boards hung from them that said, “NOW OPEN.” The three-day event will go on until September 19, hosting forums, conferences, live podcasts, and more.
