3D Printing Projects

3D printing projects with STL files. These projects make use of a 3D Printer to build something useful for our electronics projects.

After being inspired by RYNO motors and other self-balancing scooters from Segway, I always wanted to build something of my own Arduino Segway Robot. Thinking for a while, I decided to build a Self Balancing Robot using Arduino. This way I would be able to grasp the underlying concept behind all these scooters and also learn how the PID algorithm works.

Ludo, one of our cherished childhood board games, holds a special place in our hearts. Its simple yet engaging gameplay that provided countless hours of fun and bonding. However, as times have changed, so have our ways of enjoying these nostalgic pastimes. Today, children often experience classic games like Ludo through smartphones and gaming consoles, losing the…

I wanted to build a Pet Robot Dog for my daughter. She loves dogs and would love to have a pet dog. As I can't get her an actual dog so thought I will get her something to play. This robot dog responds to "Hi Bao" and "Hi Ping" for names (wakeup words).Below are the features of Bao

Face Recognition: Bao will detect registered faces…

Today, we are going to investigate the TMC2208 stepper motor driver, a commonly used driver module that performs well with 2-phase bipolar stepper motors. The TMC2208 module is manufactured by Trinamic (a German company that specialises in motion control products); it has become popular due to its performance in a more efficient manner and provides silent operation.…

Robotic Arms, are one of the fascinating engineering creations and it is always fascinating to watch these things tilt and pan to get complex things done just like a human arm would. These robotic arms can be commonly found in industries at the assembly line performing intense mechanical work like welding, drilling, painting etc, recently advanced robotic arms with high…

Avengers Assemble! Who does not like the Marvel Cinematic Universe? So, today we have a great project for you people that is a Wi-Fi-controlled Ironman mask. These days evolution and adaptation of 3D printed tools have seen a great increment for a plethora of purposes. We brought the use of a cool 3D printed design to make it into an Ironman mask that can be controlled over…

Styrofoam and polystyrene have been one of the most efficient methods of model making amongst the maker community, thanks to their lightweight, extremely low cost, and the ease with which they can be crafted into some breathtaking pieces of artwork.

But working with Styrofoam often requires a lot of heated element tools that get…

Winter is coming and that simply means cold weather with early nights. The perfect way to combat the winter gloom and lighten the mood is to light some candles but burning wax candles inside a closed room will fill up the room with carbon dioxide which can cause health issues. That is why in this article we have decided…

Most advanced electronics PCB assembly lines have pick and place machines to pick components from an SMD reel and place it on a PCB. But this is not possible when you are doing medium-scale production or using THT (through-hole type) components on your PCB. This scenario holds true, in most low-cost board assemblies like LED drivers, transformerless power supplies, etc. In…

We're building an Arduino automatic pet feeder today that feeds your pet automatically at scheduled times. This complete automatic pet feeder project incorporates a DS3231 RTC (Real Time Clock) Module, allowing you to keep track of your pet's eating schedule and properly schedule feeding at specific times. Our tested design is one of the best pet feeders for DIY makers that…

The current COVID-19 scenario needs no introduction. While everyone is giving their best to move forward, it is important to act responsibly and tackle this problem collectively. Today in many public places and in other gatherings, it has become common to screen individuals for body temperature, as a preventive measure to check for fever. The device that is used to do this…

In this project we make a Cool Speedometer for bikes or any automotives by using Arduino which broadcast the speed using Bluetooth to an Android application that we created using Processing. The complete project is powered by an 18650 Lithium cell and hence highly portable along with your vehicle. To spice it up a bit more I have added the option of…
