In today’s modern world we all depend on mobile phones as our primary means of wireless communication. But, we all have faced situations during which we might not be able to answer to our calls, these calls might be an important personal call or a life changing business call and you could have just missed that opportunity since you were not able to answer that call at that particular time.

GSM modules are fascinating to use especially when our project requires remote access. These modules could make all actions that our normal mobile phone could do, like making/receiving a call, sending/receiving a SMS, connecting to internet using GPRS etc. You can also connect a normal microphone and speaker to this module and converse on your mobile calls. This will open doors to lot of creative projects if it could be interfaced with a Microcontroller.

Today we are here with an interesting project in which we will Send Data to the SparkFun server using Arduino and GPRS. This is an IoT based project in which we will use GPRS, present on the GSM Module SIM900A board, to send some data to the web service on the internet.

In this DIY project we are going to build a Simple Mobile Phone using Raspberry Pi, in which GSM Module is used to Make or answer the Call and send or read the SMS, and also this Raspberry Pi phone has Mic and Speaker to talk over this PhoneThis project will also serve as a proper interfacing of GSM Module with Raspberry Pi, with all the Code needed to operate any Phone’s basic functions.

So here we are making Automatic Plant Irrigation System using Arduino, which automatically provides water to your plants and keep you updated by sending message to your cell phone.

In this project we are building a home automation system, where one can control the home appliances, using the simple GSM based phone, just by sending SMS through his phone. In this project, no Smart phone is needed, just the old GSM phone will work to switch ON and OFF any home electronic appliances, from anywhere.

Prepaid Electricity Energy Meter is a good concept in which you can recharge its balance, like we do in our mobile phones. In this project we are building a automated system by using Arduino and GSM module. You can recharge the electricity balance through this system, just by sending a SMS. It can also disconnect the home power supply connection, if there is low or zero balance in the system.
