WijiBoard: A Real-Life 'Ouija' Board Powered by ESP32

A maker recently unveiled their latest project, the WijiBoard—a real-life version of a Ouija board powered by an ESP32 module. This open-source project combines fun with learning about mechanics and electronics.

The WijiBoard features a coin that moves across the board, guided by magnets. Underneath the board, a mechanical system with two stepper motors controls the coin’s movement using inverse kinematics, ensuring precise positioning on the x and y axes. The motors and magnets work together, creating the illusion that the coin moves on its own.

What makes this project stand out is the integration of a Wi-Fi interface. The ESP32 module serves as a web server, allowing users to control the WijiBoard remotely. By connecting to the device's Wi-Fi hotspot, users can access a dedicated webpage that acts as the control interface. From here, they can manipulate the coin's movements in real-time.

This creative and educational project offers a unique blend of software, hardware, and web technology, showcasing the potential of ESP32 in building interactive devices.
