UPI Payment Receiver

The maker techiesms has successfully built a compact UPI payment receiver using Makerfabs' 1.8-inch AMOLED display module. The module comes with an ESP32 S3 (R8) on its back, which acts as its brain. This project integrates real-time transaction updates with a compact and visually appealing display, making it a practical solution for digital payments.

The ESP32-S3 has a dual-core microprocessor, 240 MHz, and 8 MB of PSRAM in it. Along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities, multiple GPIOs, and external storage options. It was paired with MakerFabs' 1.8-inch AMOLED display, which offers high contrast and vibrant colors.

Here is how the UPI payment system works in this project. The ESP32-S3 is connected to Adafruit IO, which helps it keep track of payments. The ESP32-S3 looks for the new payment transactions, and as soon as a payment is made, it takes the details from the server and instantly displays them on the 1.8-inch AMOLED screen.

In order to design the UI, he used SquareLine Studio, which presents a clean and interactive UI that updates instantly when a payment is received. This project highlights the potential of embedded systems in payment solutions, offering a compact and efficient way to track transactions. And this module gives us plenty of room to explore and customize according to our own needs.
