NeST Group’s flagship company, SFO Technologies, exchanged a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu government at the TN Rising Conclave in Madurai. The MoU is for its plans to establish a greenfield electronics manufacturing facility in Theni, Tamil Nadu. The exchange happened in the presence of Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and Industries Minister Dr T.R.B. Rajaa.
The facility that’s planned involves an investment of Rs 2,270 crore, and is expected to generate roughly 5,500 jobs. Focus areas include printed circuit boards (PCBs), connectors, composites, relays, and optical transceivers.
SFO Technologies has grown from providing electronics manufacturing services to offering comprehensive “ODM Plus” solutions now. With presence already spanning Kochi, Trivandrum, Bangalore, Mysore and Pune, the addition of Theni will further strengthen the company’s footprint in India.
