MediBuddy, India’s largest digital healthcare company has partnered with Japan’s ELECOM to introduce IoT-enabled smart health devices for preventive healthcare. This collaboration aims to simplify daily health management by integrating digital technology with essential healthcare products. In the first phase, the partnership will focus on delivering integrated healthcare solutions across India. With increasing lifestyle diseases and a limited number of healthcare professionals, both companies seek to enhance health monitoring and improve access to quality medical services.
By leveraging ELECOM’s expertise in IoT technology, the alliance brings devices such as weighing scales, body composition monitors and blood pressure monitors that provide real-time health insights. These smart devices will sync automatically with the MediBuddy app, allowing users to track their health data effortlessly. This technology-driven approach is expected to facilitate early detection of health risks and timely intervention for non-communicable diseases.

He highlighted the importance of preventive healthcare in addressing the country’s growing burden of lifestyle-related diseases.
