These charging solutions are designed to meet the growing demand for sustainable transportation options, making EV adoption more accessible and convenient.

Shuzlan Energy announced a monumental partnership with Transvolt Mobility, which marked a significant milestone in the journey towards electrifying public transportation with the signing of an agreement to provide India’s largest EV Charging Point Operator (CPO) infrastructure for 1,000 buses.

These EV chargers will be strategically placed throughout India, with the first hub’s operations at the Mira Bhainder Depot of the Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Transport (MBMT). This hub is projected to be the region’s lifeline for powering 57 public transport buses, ushering in a new era of efficient and clean public transport.

Being the largest EV charging stations installation consignment, multiple depots will be set up at  350 charging operators, all operating on a fixed income model within a year. These charging solutions are designed to meet the growing demand for sustainable transportation options, making EV adoption more accessible and convenient. The introduction of best-in-class Charging Management System (CMS) technology from Shuzlan will further enhance the charging experience and reliability for EV users.

The collaboration between Shuzlan Energy and Transvolt Mobility has paved the way for a cleaner and greener future, encouraging the adoption of electric buses and facilitating widespread access to reliable and convenient EV charging solutions.

Rohit Pandit, Managing Director & Chairman, Shuzlan Energy expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are thrilled to join forces with Transvolt Mobility to provide cutting-edge EV charging solutions for 1,000 buses. This collaboration underscores our commitment to revolutionise electric mobility, making it accessible and efficient. We are poised to set new milestones in the industry, and we look forward to the positive impact our efforts will have on sustainable transportation.”

In a previous exclusive interaction with CircuitDigest, Pandit also added that the company has already tied up with various bus and fleet operators and they have a plan to install around 750 AC and DC Chargers across the country on a similar captive charging model. Apart from this, Shuzlan is also coming up with various strategic locations on highways where they will be the first to install around 750 AC and DC chargers, which will be in between the range of 30 KILOWATTS to 40 kilowatts. Shuzlan is also going to launch its own fleet service on a B2B model for various corporations across the country.
