Magenta Mobility plans to add 10,000 electric vehicles in FY25, including three and four-wheelers. The company currently has over 500 electric cargo four-wheelers and offers logistics services across routes like Rajasthan-Haryana-Delhi (180 km) and Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai (422 km).

Magenta Mobility has announced its plan to add 10,000 electric vehicles (EVs) in the next financial year. This includes both three-wheelers and four-wheelers to meet the growing need for clean and efficient logistics solutions in Indian cities and longer routes. The company also plans to expand its services to cities like Nashik, Nagpur, Vijayawada, Indore and Kolkata.

The company has already built a strong presence in the electric three-wheeler segment by working with major e-commerce companies like Amazon, Flipkart and BigBasket. After this success, Magenta Mobility is now focusing on its four-wheeler electric cargo vehicles. It currently operates over 500 electric cargo four-wheelers. The company has also introduced logistics services for intercity and interstate routes. These include the Rajasthan-Haryana-Delhi route, which covers 180 kilometers and the Delhi-Haryana-UP route, spanning 140 kilometers. For longer journeys, the company has launched a service on the Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai route, covering a 422-kilometer round trip.

Magenta Mobility’s four-wheeler electric cargo vehicles can run up to 150 kilometers on a single charge. Earlier, electric vehicles were mainly used for short trips within cities, with a limited range of 100-120 kilometers per charge. However, Magenta’s successful trials have shown that electric vehicles can now be used for longer distances, including intercity and interstate routes. This expansion supports India’s efforts to adopt clean transportation solutions, as businesses look for ways to reduce pollution and save on fuel costs. With its plan to expand its fleet and operations to more cities, Magenta Mobility is playing a key role in making logistics more eco-friendly and supporting India’s goal of a sustainable future.
