IHLP1212xx01 – Low Profile, High Current Inductors

Vishay Intertechnology introduced three new commercial IHLP low profile, high current inductors, namely IHLP-1212AZ-01, IHLP-1212AB-01, and IHLP-1212BZ-01. These inductors are designed in a 3.3x3.3mm 1212 case size and offer an extremely low profile down to 1.0mm, hence they save a lot of space in the computer and telecom applications. The IHLP1212xx01 inductors operate at a temperature range -55°C to 125°C and have an inductance range of 0.10 to 3.3µH.

  • Typical DC resistance (DCR): 8.60 to 63.61mΩ
  • Maximum DC resistance (DCR): 9.20 to 66.38mΩ
  • Heat Rating Current: 3.47 to 10.50A
  • Saturation current: 5.23 to 19.21A
  • Typical Self-resonant frequency (SRF): 95 to 475 MHz

  • Maximum DC resistance (DCR): 9.61 to 62.79mΩ
  • Heat Rating Current: 3.81 to 10.48A
  • Saturation current: 5.61 to 18.92A

The IHLP1212xx01 are optimized for energy storage in DC/DC converters up to 5 MHz and provides high current attenuation in high current filtering application up to the SRF of the inductor. These devices are packed in a 100% lead (Pb) free shielded, composite construction that reduces buzz to ultra-low levels. They offer high resistance to thermal shock, moisture, and mechanical shock, and handle high transient current spikes without saturation. The IHLP1212xx01 are RoHS-Compliant, halogen-free, and Vishay green; hence they are suitable for applications such as notebooks, desktops, and servers; low profile, high current power supplies; and distributed power systems and FPGAs.
