TDK Corporation has introduced the PH600A280-24 DC-DC converter as an extension to the PH-A280 series of 200 to 425V DC input power modules from 50 to 600W. Rated at 24V 25A, PH600A280-24 has been designed to provide a wide 14.4 to 28.8V adjustment range to accommodate non-standard voltages. The device delivers an efficiency of 93% and can operate at full load with -40°C to +85°C baseplate temperatures, derating linearly to 80% load at +100°C.
The PH600A280-24 is packaged in the industry-standard half-brick package (61.0 x 12.7 x 57.9mm), this makes it suitable for data communications, power transmission, and renewable energy applications utilizing a 380V HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) input. These converters can be conduction-cooled, hence they are suitable for use is sealed outdoor enclosures or liquid-cooled applications.
All the PH-A280 modules are designed with remote on-off and over-current, and over-voltage protection and they are fully isolated with an input to output isolation of 3000Vac and are safety certified to IEC/EN/UL/CSA 62368-1 with CE marking for the Low Voltage and RoHS Directives.
