Hi I want to make a simple SPL meter using a microphone, opamp circuit (amplifier) and a rectifier which can then go into a micro-controller preferably the atmega164p using the microcontroller's ADC and then converting to dB. Has anyone got anyone got any experience of doing this sort of project. Any schematics and software code will be very much appreciated. Thanks.
