AT25EU family of SPI NOR Flash Devices

With the ability to deliver significantly faster erase times and power-saving features, AT25EU, ultra-low-energy, fast read NOR Flash devices from Dialog Semiconductor can help reduce the energy consumption of IoT devices. These new devices ensure to support the development of power-conscious, size-constrained connected devices and focused on best operation performance besides lowering down the power consumption to a great extent.

Ideal for extending the operational time of small battery-powered IoT devices, the AT25EU family of SPI NOR Flash devices offer exceptional erase time which in conjunction with the low-power high-speed operation can help drastically reduce the total energy consumed in any system. Offering low-power high-speed read operation, the family also boasts of significantly faster erase times at a fraction of the power.

The ability of these devices to achieve faster, lower energy erase operations helps improve the overall efficiency of functions like Over-the-Air updates (OTA), event tracking, and data logging activities. The ultra-low energy Flash memory of the devices offers a variety of power-saving features including wide Vcc (1.65V to 3.6V) operation. This further helps in extending the battery life as well as the 100 to 300nA deep power-down mode to conserve energy when the product is not in use. The AT25EU product family of devices will be offered in 1Mbit and 2Mbit configurations and will be made available for sampling in the second quarter of 2021 with more devices planned to be of up to 16Mbits density.
