TT Electronics introduces Modular Current Sensor Approach

TT Electronics announced new, innovative and highly diverse modular technique leverages Hall-Effect and Rogowski sensors, as well as amplifiers and digital converters which will help developing customised current sensor solutions for the harsh environment requirements of the aerospace and defence market. By using the TT’s design engineering expertise, the new process allows module customisation within on-going, developing, upgraded and retro-fit programmes to meet economic, high reliability and specific requirements of proprietary solutions.

These solutions will help measurement of current which is vitally important in flight critical aerospace power and instrumentation systems. Also these solution will help interpretation by providing the accurate data since the accuracy is also vital in these applications.

The current sensor modules can work in the ambient temperature ranges of -55°C to +125°C and a 30A to 2000A AC or DC capability making it a perfect solution for electrical systems, generators and motor drive applications. Also, together these modules enable economical solutions that are high in quality and performance.

These TRL5 standard circuit boards can be coated, fully potted, built into a housing, or re-configured into a multi-phase product with a generic single-phase configuration. These unique features and flexibility of design help customers to select key sensor parameters to create their very own unique solution for their tailored requirements.
