Littelfuse, Inc., a leading industrial technology manufacturing company, has unveiled its latest innovation, the CPC3981Z - an 800 V, 100 mA, 45 Ohm Small Power N-Channel Depletion Mode MOSFET. What sets this product apart is its modified SOT-223-2L package, which enhances its usability in various applications. Unlike the standard SOT-223 package, CPC3981Z's modified package removes the middle pin, increasing the drain-gate pin spacing to over 4 millimeters. This extended creepage distance is particularly advantageous in higher voltage applications, such as switch mode power supplies (SMPS) or power factor correction (PFC) startup circuits, as it eliminates the need for costly conformal coating or potting.

The CPC3981Z Depletion Mode MOSFET offers an 800 V blocking voltage rating, making it ideal for use in industrial, energy, telecommunications, and LED lighting markets.
