Saelig has introduced Micsig STO1000E PLUS, a series of 2/4 channel battery-powered portable oscilloscopes that provide bandwidths up to 150MHz with 70Mpts memory, 1GSa/s sampling (single channel) 130,000wfm/s refresh rate, and a 7.5Ah Li-battery for extended field use. The series includes three models: STO1102E PLUS 2-channel 100MHz, STO1152E PLUS 150MHz 2-channel, and STO1104E PLUS 4-channel 100MHz.
The STO100E PLUS oscilloscopes can make 31 types of automatic measurements and it can decode a selection of series protocols such as UART, CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C, 1553B, and ARINC429. The I/O provisions include Wi-Fi, LAN, HDMI, USB Host, USB Device, DC Power, and Aux out. The devices were designed with 8GB of internal storage for storing data files that can be transferred to a PC via a USB connection, LAN or WiFi.
These new STO1000E PLUS oscilloscopes are designed with an 8 touch screen (touch, drag, and swipe) with a ‘button & knob’ operation. The data entry process can be done with its internal software pop-up keyboard and an external mouse can be used for additional control choices. Apart from this the built-in HDMI output adds adding educational and demonstration possibilities and the device also includes an auto-calibration function to ensure accurate measurement. The screen capture button helps in saving waveform images quickly for later review or report writing, whereas the built-in prop stand helps in easy viewing.
The Sophisticated waveform triggering techniques of the oscilloscopes include Edge, Pulse Width, Logic, Video, Runt, Time Out, Nth Edge, Slopetime, and Serial Decode. When the oscilloscope is connected to a LAN or WiFi network, the live screen image can be transmitted to an external projector. The scope can also be remotely PC-controlled via WiFi, LAN, or USB, and also via an Android mobile device. For more information, visit the STO100E PLUS product page.
