Hello.
I have to replace a diode which sits between two hot poles of a two-way-switch. The diode is a STTH3L06. I wanted to ask, if I can replace it with another kind or do I need this special one? I am in Guatemala and here we only get the "normal" ones. If any one could give me a tip on what I have to pay attemtion would be great!

The close alternative in such section is 1N5406. However, it is not an ultrafast one.

I am dealing with switching a little pump of 2A at 12V. Do I really need ultrafast switching?

PermalinkThis is a 600V 3A ultafrast diode. You could check any diode in the same spec to be relaced with this one.
