Hi,
I'm quite a newbie with electrical stuff. I'm not sure can I do something myself or I need an electrician. My question is - can I use existing wall socket wires to connect a transformer. It doesn't have standard plug just L and N as input. It transforms 230V to 24V? If not how to connect it properly. Thanks
Thanks for a reply. Sure I always double checking that main fuse is in OFF position. I find out that I can just use the standard power cable and then simply plug in to the wall socket. And of course is working fine with remote RF switch. Thanks
There are two main methods to installing the LED strips under your cabinets. The first method is to install the LED strip on the lip or trim of the cabinet so the LEDs face the backsplash. This will give you one continuous light output while highlighting the backsplash, it will also reduce any reflection of the LED diodes on the countertop. The second method is to install the LED strip 2” from the front of the cabinet with the LEDs facing straight down to the countertop. This will provide more downlight, but may leave a reflection of diodes on the countertop. In this setup, the customer decided to mount the LED strips on the lip of the cabinet.

PermalinkYes you can use the wall socket wires to connect a transformer. If it's a 230 to 24V transformer. the transformer capacity is generally written on a the transformer itself. but please be really very cautious around 230V Mains Voltage. it can kill u if you do something wrong. so when you do this pls always double check that the mains supply is turned of and do always use a high voltage tester to double check if there high voltage present or ot.
