Sorry if this is a dumb question (pretty new to electronics) but I'm buying the following audio jack: https://imgur.com/a/nCPmFD7
On the product page, it says "PCB mount" and you can see that there aren't solder tags on the pins, but I can still solder cables to it even though it doesn't have a solder tag, right? Any help would be greatly appreciated :).

I'm new to electronics also but regardless i'll wager an answer; you probably could but it wouldn't be the most durable solution. You would be better off using something like this:

Permalinkhi hans, just saw your picture, the components has pins under it so you can directly mount it on a PCB if you have used the correct footprint. And yes it is also possible tto solder wires and then use it on breadboard or perf board
