I have the coil of a wah wah, guitar effect, which when it was intact had ferrite around it and had an inductance of about 560 mH. Now the ferrite is gone and the value has dropped to about 8 mH. I'm talking about this model
I would like to know if it is possible to do something to get back the inductance it had before about 560 mH.

PermalinkFind the right ferrite core of the inductor, carefully change two halves. It will be ok.
Otherwise change the inductor.
