A day back, the government of Uttar Pradesh told the media that the startup policy unleashed in 2017 has helped the home-grown robotics startup Addverb to become the most profitable and largest robotics company in the country. During an interaction with the media, the government spokesperson said that the company, which started operating from a 400 square ft room, is now having a yearly revenue of more than Rs 450 Crore.

The company is said to have reaped from the benefits of the startup policy and moreover, it has been reported to have given employment to more than 2000 youths. The company spokesperson added that in the coming few years, they would like to provide direct employment to more than 3000 youths.

Officials in the Uttar Pradesh government proclaimed that they have supported the company with all kinds of requirements starting from providing lands to setting up the factory. In 2021, Addverb started its operations in just eighteen months and now, it wants to manufacture ‘100 percent indigenous robots’. And as the demand for robots have escalated in various industrial sectors, a second manufacturing facility has been commenced by the company, dubbed ‘Boat-verse’ on 15 acres of land.

The company’s robots are basically utilized for carrying out materials from one place to another and are widely used in warehouses and factories as well as in hospitals and airports. Chief Marketing Officer Satish Kumar Shukla said, "We started our journey from a small office in Delhi in the year 2017 by taking a rented office and factory in Noida. We got a lot of help from the Startup Policy of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. In true sense, our growth is from UP only. The experience of ease of doing business in Uttar Pradesh cannot be found elsewhere."
