I have to make this project Prepaid Energy Meter using GSM and Arduino. So please help me in its programming and how to proceed.
hi, my hardware is working ...but i am not getting any msg from gsm module as well as my balance is ot reducing so can u help me with the coading,,,,
Yes, Sir
I want to ask about the system. That before making the hardware, i want to run this system in the proteus software. In this software i am unable to find energy meter in the proteus library and all other things are there. I want to verify it before doing hardware. So tell me something about this.
Hi Alok,
Since you are just starting with the project I would recommend you to start from here :http://circuitdigest.com/microcontroller-projects/call-and-message-usin…
Thi tutorial will give you a good introduction to Arduino and GSM module.
Further, since we are using a Arduino (module) and GSM module it is not reliable to test them on Protus simulator. Because Proteus does nto have a built in gsm module librarey. The 3rd party librarey is not reliable again.
So, the best way is to gets your hands on the module and learning by yourself.
Get yourself an arduino and a GSM module and start with the above tutorial, as always we are here to guide you if you get stuck somewhere
sir my project hardware is working and the lcd is showing the unit and balance value....But my unit and balance are not reducing and i am not getting any sms from the gsm module so can you help me with the program.I am using a SIM 900A gsm module..
sir i have the same hardware what you used in this prototype, the code stuck in "finding module" not going ahead?
please sir help me with this?

PermalinkHi Alok,
Prepaid Energy Meter using GSM and Arduino is an intresting project.
The complete project with schematics and code is well explained here : http://circuitdigest.com/microcontroller-projects/prepaid-energy-meter-…
Just buy the components connect them as per schematics and dump the code given. But, still we you need some help or get stuck somewhere, we are here to help you out.
ALL THE BEST
