Wiring a stop and go light for a truck scale

Hello all, I'm new here and I'm not sure this is even the right forum for this question. So I will apologize in advance. I've been tasked at work to get away from a load speaker setup we have and put in a red and green light setup. Of course my boss only wants to spend as light as possible. I have wired an old traffic lights in the past and other small projects but I really know nothing about any of this. 

I want it to stay red then have a toggle to change it to green. My question is what kind of toggle switch will I need and how would you hook it all together? I've search and search the internet and can not find anything. Someone could point me in the right direction it could be a job saver for me.
