Transistor checker

The circuit basically uses a 555 timer to trigger the transistor and monitor the output. So I dont see why it cant be used for FET, it should work give it a try. you have too just replace the BJT in FET in following fashion 

Base - Gate

Collector - Drain 

Emitter - Source 

yes it would work on fet also. it just trigger the base.
