Hi
This may be a basic question but can someone please tell me how I'm supposed to connect a cable to these?

I assumed the end part would crimp onto the insulation and the core would then be soldered onto the inner part, but I can't get the solder to stick to the connector. I'm sure they were described as solder connectors. Could it be a temperature problem? I think I'm getting it hot enough but I haven't soldered cables before. What size soldering iron bit should I be using for something like this?
Thanks
Sorry about that. I'm not really into google drive and all that stuff, I'm more old school. I thought I'd set it to anyone with the link but I must have got it wrong. I'll make sure next time.

PermalinkI managed to get this done. I was holding the connector in a metal clamp which was acting as a heatsink. I saw a tip saying to drill a hole in a piece of wood to hold the connectors and that worked perfectly. Hope this helps any beginners like me.
