Hi. I'm a complete novice so please don't slate me for asking this question.
I was just wondering if there is such a thing as quick drying conductive glue or adhesive?
There several conductive adhesives available in the market. You can opt for Electrically Conductive Epoxy, Silver Adhesive glue in several online shopping sites.
An electrically conductive adhesive is a glue that is primarily used for electronics. The electric conductivity is caused by a component that makes ca. 80% of the total mass of an electrically conductive adhesive.
The electric conductivity is caused by a component that makes ca. 80% of the total mass of an electrically conductive adhesive. This conductive component is suspended in a sticky component that holds the electrically conductive adhesive together. The particles of the conductive component are in contact to each other and in this way make electric current possible.
Hi TheYikes! There are a lot of conductive inks, adhesives, paints available in the market containing silver adhesives, graphite elements etc. One of my experience with conductivity control and conductive paint/inks, I tried a few years back to make my own conductive ink/paint to create schematics on paper/plastic. The first try I made using graphite powder and for sticking purpose, used adhesive glue commonly known as gamin glue. This works fine but there is an issue with this is that it has high value of resistance because of the graphite. But after that got idea from my department teachers to use some kind of nitrates of silver like AgNO3 which has low resistance as compared to the graphite. You can use this method to make your own of get it from market. Here I would like to suggest you to get connect with the Sierra Software Ltd. platform technical support team for getting better assistance regarding your queries and project support.

PermalinkYes, there are conductive glues or adhesive available for the use of electronics.
Those adhesive and glues are mainly call as ECAs.
