Hi folks; I am a newbie here. I own this counter and want to interface it with a relay closure on an alarm system to count events. It is a module with 2 wires and I could just experiment with the thing but I worry about any protection circuits that might be required. I'd hate to ruin the thing or the alarm system on startup. The counter is an amazon device but I have found it listed with OMRON and sadly no application info. I would like to know what current the counter is going to pull from the 12v source. Thanks. Frank
