Connect 3 Wires

I am not sure if you want to control this button mechically or electronically, but if you want to connect electronically a two pole relay will be compact and easy to get the job done.

If you want mechanical solution, then using two push buttons will make it more compact that a dpdt switch. You can connect two push buttons like this
