[DCDC] Consult DCDC power module output first amplification capacitor or small capacitor
March 6, 2019 - 8:29am

The output of the DCDC power module wants to place two capacitors, one large and one small. Large capacitors are used to consider low-frequency interference, and small capacitors are used to consider high-frequency interference. Is it first to place a large capacitor or a small capacitor first?
1. Due to the ESR and ESL of the capacitor, the large capacitor and the small capacitor have different impedances to different frequency interference signals.
Small capacitors have less impedance to high frequency interference signals.
2. The capacitor is equivalent to the reservoir, so the small capacitor is equivalent to a small reservoir, then the low-frequency signal will not add water to the small water storage (small capacitor) pool.
If the low-frequency signal can add water to a small reservoir (small capacitor), it will not affect the water storage capacity of the small reservoir for high-frequency signals.
