IOT based and encrypted smart energy meter
Arduino UNO R4 WiFi

I am developing a smart energy meter that measures and monitors electricity consumption in real-time, using IoT technologies to transmit data to a cloud platform or mobile app.

Objectives of this project:
1. Accurate Energy Measurement: Develop a meter that can accurately measure energy consumption in real-time.
2. Wireless Connectivity: Enable wireless communication protocols (e.g., Wi-Fi ) to transmit data to the cloud or a central server.
3. Real-time Monitoring: Allow users to monitor energy usage remotely through a mobile app or web platform.
4. Energy Efficiency Analytics: Provide insights and analytics to help users optimize their energy consumption and reduce waste.
5. Smart Home Integration: Integrate with popular smart home systems to enable automated energy management.
6. *Security and Privacy*: Ensure the meter and transmitted data are secure and tamper-proof to protect user privacy.
7. *Cost-Effectiveness*: Design a cost-effective solution that is affordable for widespread adoption.
8. *Scalability*: Develop a solution that can be easily scaled up or down depending on the user's needs.
9. *User-Friendly Interface*: Create an intuitive interface for users to easily understand and manage their energy usage.
10. *Compliance with Industry Standards*: Ensure the smart energy meter meets relevant industry standards and regulations.

Steps and features:
Using current sensor to measure the current flowing through the meter, and voltage sensor for measuring voltage. a suitable microcontroller (arduino uno r4 wifi ) to process data and connect to the internet.
Integrate Wi-Fi to transmit data to the cloud or a mobile app Useing a cloud platform (arduinoiot cloud ) to store, process, and analyze energy consumption data.
I am also building a mobile app (e.g., Android, iOS) to display real-time energy consumption data, historical usage patterns, and shows PF, and alerts for excessive energy usage and Implementing encryption and secure authentication to ensure data privacy and prevent tampering.
