I wanted to build a Pet Robot Dog for my daughter. She loves dogs and would love to have a pet dog. Due to our work schedule etc. it is difficult for us to have a real dog and hence I want to build her a Pet Robot Dog.

This robot will use AI to perform most of its core functions like:

a) Face Recognition: It will greet the registered faces as friends with a smile and wagging its tail. Unidentified people will be treated as a threat or asked to become friends
b) Offline Voice Commands: This will be used to get basic actions of the pet like stand, sit, bark, hand shake etc.
c) Chat bot : While connected to internet can converse and answer questions.
d) Assistant : Take down notes, setup and alarm or birthday reminders
e) Friendly Face / actions ; Uses a display to show its mood and performs random actions.

I am planning to package this in a 3D printed body, with head, legs and tail which will be able to move using Servos.

** She should be able to use this to play with a group of friends.
