The "Implementation of IoT-based Sustainable Smart Streetlight System with Fault Detection" project aims to revolutionize traditional streetlight operations by offering a revolutionary IoT-based solution. In addition to promoting energy conservation and preserving autonomous streetlight performance, this project places a high priority on safety and efficiency. Its primary objective is to automate tedious tasks and quickly identify broken lightbulbs so that repairs may be made. The system creates an intelligent streetlight infrastructure that can predict issues and adapt to the local weather by utilizing Internet of Things technologies. Thanks to the inclusion of weather sensors, the system optimizes energy consumption by dynamically adjusting streetlight brightness levels based on the current climate. Furthermore, the development of admin and user applications facilitates communication regarding outages and allows users to report issues for expedient solutions.

The core objective of this project is to revolutionize the manual operation of street lights by implementing an advanced IoT-based intelligent streetlight system with a primary focus on automating processes, detecting faulty lamps, and facilitating prompt maintenance notifications. Central to this endeavor is the overarching goal of developing a sophisticated infrastructure that not only conserves energy but also operates autonomously while accurately predicting faults. Emphasizing safety and energy efficiency as paramount considerations, the envisioned system integrates state-of-the-art IoT technologies to optimize streetlight performance. A key feature entails the integration of weather-sensing capabilities, enabling the system to adapt streetlight operations dynamically in response to prevailing climate conditions.

Proposed system is based on IoT enabled streetlight that targets energy conservation and autonomous operation. for that PIR sensor is implemented for effective operation of streetlights. Our proposed system mainly ensures that Safety and energy efficiency as prior most thing.
In addition to this, a panic button is placed on poles, in case of any emergency, if the button is pressed, all the streetlight’s blinks continuously, buzzer starts sounds indicating the threat, and the alert notification is sent to the admin’s application.

Our system mainly used to conserve the energy as well as increasing the time period of streetlight and also eliminates outages.
The user application provides easy access for providing their feedbacks/ reports regarding the concerns and problems and the admin application enables to monitoring of lights operations and user’s complaints
