The Automated Water Waste Collection System aims to leverage advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and Internet of Things (IoT) to autonomously detect and collect waste floating on water surfaces. This innovative project addresses the pressing global issue of water pollution by providing a proactive solution for waste management in aquatic environments.
This system will feature a waterproof camera module and AI image recognition algorithms running on the Kendryte K210 processor to detect and classify waste items floating on water surfaces, such as plastic debris and bottles. An autonomous robotic boat equipped with propulsion systems and robotic arms will navigate autonomously using GPS, collect identified waste, and deposit it into designated containers onboard. IoT connectivity will enable real-time data transmission to a central server for remote monitoring of waste collection activities and environmental conditions. This project aims to mitigate water pollution proactively by providing an efficient and sustainable solution for waste management in aquatic environments, showcasing the Maixduino's capabilities in advancing environmental conservation efforts.
